Second Amendment Debate in the US and Worldwide

On Saturday, March 24 massive marches and protests worldwide brought attention to the challenges arising most particularly from the February, 14, Parkland, school shooting.

BBC covers these protests primarily with a series of videos

NPR reported on smaller counter protests “March for Our Guns” staged in Helena, Montana. Similar pro-gun marches were held in Utah, Idaho and other states.

These protests insist that the current popular challenge to legal gun ownership threatens rights guaranteed by the US constitution, and when described as the “right to defend oneself,” a “God-given” right.
